Fr Anthony Clucas

Fr Anthony was born in Birmingham and grew up in Pype Hayes, attending the Gunter Road School, and the Marsh Hill Boys School in Stockland Green, following which higher education took him away from Birmingham. After obtaining his BA at Portsmouth he held a variety of government appointments, before moving to the private sector, working for a pension fund management company and later as a consultant in information technology.

He was accepted for theological training in 1996 and studied for three years at the Queens Foundation in Edgbaston, on the West Midlands Ministerial Training Course.

After being made Deacon in 1999, he served as Curate at St Barnabas, Erdington for four years, being Priested in 2000. After ministering under Bishop's Permission to Officiate for a time, providing service cover where needed, Fr Anthony was licensed to St Matthew, Nechells, serving there until becoming Priest-in-Charge at All Saints in August 2005. He was made Vicar of the parish in 2012.
